And they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants and went after him.

1:21 And they go into Capernaum; and immediately on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught. 1:22 And they were astounded at his teaching: For* he taught them as having authority and not as the scribes. 1:23 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, 1:24 saying, Ah! What do we have to do with you, Jesus, the Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are, the Holy One of God.
1:25 And Jesus rebuked it, saying, Hush and come out of him.
1:26 And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him. 1:27 And they were all amazed, so-that they debated among themselves, saying, What is this? What new teaching is this that with authority he even commands the unclean spirits and they obey him. 1:28 And the report of him went out immediately into all around the region of Galilee.

Be cleansed. 1:42 And he having spoken, the leprosy immediately departed from him and he was cleansed. 1:43 And he scolded him and immediately sent him out, 1:44 and says to him, See that you say nothing to anyone: but go show yourself to the priest and offer the things which Moses commanded, concerning your cleansing FOR a testimony to them. {Lev. 13.49, 14.2ff} 1:45 But he went out and began to greatly preach it and to spread the word, so-that <1>Jesus was no longer able to openly enter into a city, but was outside in deserted places and they came to him from everywhere.
