1. It has a glorious head. Col. 1:18; 1 Pet. 4:13
2. It has a glorious law. 2 Cor. 4:4
3. Glory of Christ is in it. John 17:22
4. It has a glorious name. 1 Pet. 4:14
5. It has a home in glory. I Pet. 5:1,4,10
II. THINGS ESSENTIAL TO A GLORIOUS CHURCH
1. Clean members. Eph. 5:25-27
2. Faithful members. Rev. 2:10
3. Holy members. Eph. 5:27
4. Working members. 1 Cor. 15:58
5. Loving members. 1 Cor. 13:3
6. Humble members. Eph. 4:2; Col. 3:12
7. Unselfish members. 1 Cor. 10:24,33, Phil 2:21
8. Earnest members. 2 Cor. 8-.7,16
Conclusion: Every faithful member of the church wants his own congregation
to be one of the best. Much depends upon each member.
