We are saved by it. Rom. 8:24,25,  2. Keeps us "looking ahead." 2 Tim. 4:7,8  3. Causes us to hold on. Heb. 3:6  4. Holds us steadfast. I Cor. 15:58  5. Helps keep us pure in heart. 1 John 3:1-3 III. WHAT IS FOUNDATION OF THE CHRISTIAN'S HOPE?  1. Promises of God. Heb. 6:18,19. If one failure to keep a promise can be found, God is not to be trusted  2. Resurrection of Christ. 1, Cor. 15:14  3. No hope unless we are heirs of God. Rom. 8:16-20  4. No hope unless we remain faithful. 2 Pet. 1:3-11; Rev. 2:10; Matt. 24:13;25:21 IV. WHO DO NOT HAVE SUCH HOPE?  1.
