Question:

Question

Answer:

I am worried if one cannot get baptized just because they cannot afford to pay for the service and just because they have no money to afford a baptism. If that is the case would that person be exempt from the baptism requirement and still be saved?

Fee? What fee? There is no mention in the Bible that anyone was asked to pay money, or anything else, to become a Christian. If someone is charging a fee, you are in the wrong place. Run for your eternal life's sake and find a church that follows the Bible and not Mammon. Concerning such people Paul said they are "men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself" (I Timothy 6:5).

"Did I commit sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you free of charge?" (II Corinthians 11:7).
