Romans
Chapter
10
v14 How
then will they call on him in whom they have not
believed? And how will they believe in him whom they
have not heard? And how will they hear without
someone preaching?
v15 And how will they preach, unless they be sent?
Just-as it has been written, ‘How beautiful are the
feet of those who bring the gospel of peace and
of those who bring the gospel of good things!'
{Is. 52:7}
v16 But they did not all obey the gospel. For*
Isaiah says, ‘Lord, who has believed our report?' {Is. 53:1}
v17 So belief comes from hearing and
hearing by the word of God.
Matthew
Chapter
7
v24 Therefore everyone who hears these
words of mine and is doing them, he will be
similar to a prudent man, who built his house upon
the rock:
v25 and the rain came down
and the rivers came up and the winds
blew and fell down upon that house, and it did not
fall: for* it had a foundation upon the rock.
v26 And everyone hearing
these words of mine and who is
not doing them, will be similar to a foolish man,
who built his house upon the sand:
v27 and the rain came down
and the rivers came up and the winds
blew and hit that house and it fell and great was
its fall.
Matthew
Chapter
17
v5 While
he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud
overshadowed them and behold, a voice out of the

him.

v16 For* God so loved* the world, that
he gave his Son, the only begotten, that everyone

eternal life.
v17 For* God did not send the
Son into the world in order that he should judge
the world; but in order that the world might be
saved through him.
v18 He who believes in him is
not judged: he who does not believe has been
judged already, because he has not believed in the
name of the only begotten Son of God.
John
Chapter
3
v36 He
who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who
disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of
God abides on him.

though he die, yet he will live;
v26 and everyone who lives
and believes in me will never die, forever. Do you
believe this?
John
Chapter

v1 Do not let your* heart be
disturbed: believe in God, believe also in me.
John
Chapter
17
v20 I do not request concerning these
only, but concerning those also who believe in me
through their word;
v21 that* they may all be

in you, that* they may also be one in us: that the

v11 For* the Scripture says, ‘Everyone who believes
on him will not be ashamed.'
{Is. 28:16}
v12 For* there is no distinction between Jew and
Greek: for* the same Lord is Lord of all
and is rich to all who call upon him:

v3 Or
are you* ignorant that all of us who were
immersed* into Christ Jesus were immersed* into
his death?
v4 Therefore we were buried with him through
immersion into death: that* just-as Christ was
raised from the dead through the glory of the
Father, so we might also walk in newness of life.
v5 For* if we have become united with him
in the similarity of his death, we will
also be united with him

and was entrusted, having known from whom you have
learned them.
v15 And that you have known, from a baby, the
sacred scriptures which are able to make you wise
to salvation through faith which is in Christ
Jesus.
v16 All scripture is God-breathed and is
profitable for teaching, for conviction, for
correction, for instruction which is in
righteousness:
v17 that* the man of God may be complete,
completely equipped *for every good work.
Hebrews
Chapter

v23
Let us hold onto the confession of our hope
unbending; for* he is faithful who promised.
v24 And let us consider one another *for inciting

another , and so much more, as long as
you* see the day drawing near.
Hebrews
Chapter
12
v1
Therefore, since we are encompassed
about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us
also place away from ourselves every interference
and the sin which does so easily ensnare us
and let us run with patient endurance the contest
that lays before us.
v2 Looking away from things, look
toward Jesus the author and perfecter of the
faith, who endured the cross for the joy that
stood before him, despising shame and has sat down
by the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews
Chapter
13
v7
Remember your* leaders, men who spoke to you* the
word of God, and beholding their walk
of conduct, imitate their faith.
v8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday
and today and forever.
v9 Do not be carried away by various and strange
teachings: for* it is good that the heart be
established by grace; not by foods, by which those
who walked have not been profited.
2
Peter
Chapter
1
v1
Simon Peter, bond-slave and apostle of Jesus
Christ, to those who have obtained a faith, equal
in value with us, in the righteousness of our God
and the Savior Jesus Christ:
v2 Grace to you* and peace be multiplied in the
knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
v3 As his divine power has given as a gift to us
all things that pertain to life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him who called us by
glory and virtue;
v4 through which he has given to us as a gift his
greatest and precious promises; that* through
these you* may become partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped the corruption in the world
with its lust.
v5 And this same thing also, you* bring in
besides: all diligence, in your* faith supply
virtue, and in your* virtue, knowledge
v6 and in your* knowledge,
self-control, and in your*
self-control, patient endurance, and in your*
patient endurance, godliness;
v7 and in your* godliness, brotherly
kindness, and in your* brotherly
kindness, love*.
v8 For* these things being and increasing in you*,
neither designate you* idle nor unfruitful to the
knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
v9 For* he who does not have these things present,
is blind, short-sighted, having forgetfulness of
the cleansing from his long-ago sins.
v10 Wherefore brethren, be diligent to make your*
calling and choice steadfast: for* if you* do
these things, you* will not ever stumble:
v11 for* thus, the entrance into the eternal
kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will
be richly supplied to you*.
Revelation
Chapter
2
v10 No one fear the things which you
are about to suffer: indeed behold, the devil is
about to cast into prison some from
you*, in order that you* may be tested and
you* will have affliction ten days. You be
faithful to death and I will give you the
laurel-crown of life.
