NOAH AND THE ARK
KJV Genesis 7:1-24
1. And the Lord said unto
Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous
before me in this generation.
2. Of every clean beast
thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts
that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
3. Of fowls also of the
air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face
of all the earth.
4. For yet seven days,
and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights;
and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the
face of the earth.
5. And Noah did according
unto all that the Lord commanded him.
6. And Noah was six hundred
years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7. And Noah went in, and
his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because
of the waters of the flood.
8. Of clean beasts, and
of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth
upon the earth,
9. There went in two and
two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded
Noah.
10. And it came to pass
after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
11. In the six hundredth
year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month,
the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the
windows of heaven were opened.
12. And the rain was upon
the earth forty days and forty nights.
13. In the selfsame day
entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's
wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
14. They, and every beast
after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping
thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after
his kind, every bird of every sort.
15. And they went in unto
Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
16. And they that went
in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and
the Lord shut him in.
17. And the flood was forty
days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and
it was lift up above the earth.
18. And the waters prevailed,
and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face
of the waters.
19. And the waters prevailed
exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the
whole heaven, were covered.
20. Fifteen cubits upward
did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
21. And all flesh died
that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and
of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
22. All in whose nostrils
was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
23. And every living substance
was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle,
and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed
from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him
in the ark.
24. And the waters prevailed
upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
GOD TELLS MOSES TO SET ISRAEL FREE WITH
THE POWER OF GOD
KJV Exodus 3:1-22
1. Now Moses kept the flock
of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock
to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to
Horeb.
2. And the angel of the
Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and
he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not
consumed.
3. And Moses said, I will
now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
4. And when the Lord saw
that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the
bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
5. And he said, Draw not
nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon
thou standest is holy ground.
6. Moreover he said, I
am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the
God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
7. And the Lord said, I
have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have
heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
8. And I am come down to
deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out
of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk
and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the
Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
9. Now therefore, behold,
the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen
the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
10. Come now therefore,
and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people
the children of Israel out of Egypt.
11. And Moses said unto
God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth
the children of Israel out of Egypt?
12. And he said, Certainly
I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent
thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve
God upon this mountain.
13. And Moses said unto
God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto
them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say
to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14. And God said unto Moses,
I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,
I AM hath sent me unto you.
15. And God said moreover
unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God
of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob,
hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial
unto all generations.
16. Go, and gather the
elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The Lord God of your fathers,
the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I
have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:
17. And I have said, I
will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites,
and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites,
and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
18. And they shall hearken
to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto
the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews
hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey
into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.
19. And I am sure that
the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.
20. And I will stretch
out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the
midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.
21. And I will give this
people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass,
that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty.
22. But every woman shall
borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels
of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon
your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.
GOD DELIVERS ISRAEL FROM EGYPTIAN BONDAGE
KJV Exodus 13:17
17. And it came to pass, when Pharaoh
had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land
of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure
the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:
GOD WILL SET CHRISTIANS FREE FROM THIS
WORLD TO EVERLASTING LIFE
KJV 2 Peter 2:9
9. The Lord knoweth how to deliver
the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of
judgment to be punished:
WE WILL ALL BE JUDGED AND REWARDED ACCORDING
TO OUR WORKS
KJV 2 Corinthians 5:10-11
10. For we must all appear
before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things
done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or
bad.
11. Knowing therefore the
terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God;
and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
NO MAN KNOWS WHEN
KJV Matthew 24:36-51
36. But of that day and
hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37. But as the days of
Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38. For as in the days
that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and
giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39. And knew not until
the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the
Son of man be.
40. Then shall two be in
the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41. Two women shall be
grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42. Watch therefore: for
ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43. But know this, that
if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come,
he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken
up.
44. Therefore be ye also
ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45. Who then is a faithful
and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to
give them meat in due season?
46. Blessed is that servant,
whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47. Verily I say unto you,
That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48. But and if that evil
servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49. And shall begin to
smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50. The lord of that servant
shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he
is not aware of,
51. And shall cut him asunder,
and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.
MUST BELIEVE
KJV John 8:24
24. I said therefore unto you,
that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye
shall die in your sins.
REPENT
KJV Luke 13:3
3. I tell you, Nay: but,
except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
CONFESS
KJV Matthew 10:32-33
32. Whosoever therefore
shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which
is in heaven.
33. But whosoever shall deny me before
men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
LET WATER SAVE YOU AS IT SAVED NOAH
KJV 1 Peter 3:20-21
20. Which sometime were
disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah,
while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved
by water.
21. The like figure whereunto even
baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the
flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection
of Jesus Christ:
