LUKE 22:47-48
KJV Psalms 41:9
9. Yea, mine
own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath
lifted up his heel against me.
MATTHEW 26:14-15
KJV Zechariah 11:12
12. And I said
unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So
they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
MARK 14:57-58
KJV Psalms 35:11
11. False
witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
MARK 14:57-58; 15:27-28
MATTHEW 27:57-60, AND Romans 5:6-8,
KJV Isaiah 53:1-12
1. Who hath
believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2. For he
shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry
ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there
is no beauty that we should desire him.
3. He is
despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed
him not.
4. Surely
he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him
stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5. But he
was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are
healed.
6. All we
like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and
the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7. He was
oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought
as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb,
so he openeth not his mouth.
8. He was
taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation?
for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression
of my people was he stricken.
9. And he
made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because
he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10. Yet it
pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt
make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong
his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11. He shall
see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge
shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12. Therefore
will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil
with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he
was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made
intercession for the transgressors.
MATTHEW 26:67
KJV Isaiah 50:6
6. I gave
my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair:
I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
JOHN 19:34
KJV Zechariah 12:10
10. And I will
pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the
spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom
they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his
only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness
for his firstborn.
LUKE 23:35
KJV Psalms 22:7-8
7. All they that
see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head,
saying,
8. He trusted
on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted
in him.
ROMANS 15:3
KJV Psalms 69:9
9. For the
zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached
thee are fallen upon me.
LUKE 23:34
KJV Psalms 109:4
4. For my
love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
MATTHEW 27:35-36
KJV Psalms 22:17-18
17. I may
tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
18. They
part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
JOHN 19:32-36
KJV Psalms 34:18-20
18. The Lord
is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of
a contrite spirit.
19. Many
are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of
them all.
20. He keepeth all his
bones: not one of them is broken.
