EVERY KNEE SHALL
BOW
What most people do not realize is that
some day they will look to the Lord and realize his ultimate power.
They will realize that they should have bowed before that point.
KJV Isaiah 45:20-23
20. Assemble yourselves
and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they
have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray
unto a god that cannot save.
21. Tell ye, and bring
them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this
from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord?
and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is
none beside me.
22. Look unto me, and be
ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
23. I have sworn by myself,
the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return,
that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
KJV Romans 14:11-12
11. For it is written,
As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue
shall confess to God.
12. So then every one of
us shall give account of himself to God.
KJV Philippians 2:4-11
4. Look not every man on
his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5. Let this mind be in
you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6. Who, being in the form
of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7. But made himself of
no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in
the likeness of men:
8. And being found in fashion
as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the
death of the cross.
9. Wherefore God also hath
highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10. That at the name of
Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth,
and things under the earth;
11. And that every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
WE ONLY SHOULD BOW TO ONE GOD
KJV Exodus 20:1-5
1. And God spake all these
words, saying,
2. I am the Lord thy God,
which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3. Thou shalt have no other
gods before me.
4. Thou shalt not make
unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven
above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the
earth.
5. Thou shalt not bow down
thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and
fourth generation of them that hate me;
KJV Joshua 23:7-8
7. That ye come not among these
nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name
of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow
yourselves unto them:
8. But cleave unto the
Lord your God, as ye have done unto this day.
KJV 2 Kings 17:35
35. With whom the Lord had made
a covenant, and charged them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor
bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:
KJV Exodus 23:24
24. Thou shalt not bow down to their
gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly
overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
KJV Ephesians 4:6
6. One God and Father of all, who is
above all, and through all, and in you all.
KJV Exodus 34:14
14. For thou shalt worship
no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
KJV Matthew 4:10
10. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get
thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God,
and him only shalt thou serve.
COMMON SEPERATIONS BETWEEN GOD AND MAN
TRIBULATION, DISTRESS, LACK OF FOOD
OR CLOTHING, OR PERSECUTION
KJV Romans 8:35
35. Who shall separate
us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution,
or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
COMLAINERS, MOCKERS, OR THOSE THAT ARE
AFTER THEIR OWN LUST
KJV Jude 1:15-19
15. To execute judgment upon
all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly
deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches
which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16. These are murmurers,
complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great
swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
17. But, beloved, remember
ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus
Christ;
18. How that they told
you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their
own ungodly lusts.
19. These be they who separate
themselves, sensual, having not the spirit.
THOSE WHO WORSHIP THE WORLD AND CANNOT
SEPARATE THEMSELVES
KJV 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
14. Be ye not unequally
yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness
with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15. And what concord hath
Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16. And what agreement
hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living
God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will
be their God, and they shall be my people.
17. Wherefore come out
from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the
unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18. And will be a Father
unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
THOSE WHO WORDLY POSSESIONS HAVE A STRONGHOLD
KJV Matthew 6:24
24. No man can serve two masters: for
either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to
the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
HOW DO I BOW TO THE LORD AND DO HIS
WILL?
Leave the world, enter the Kingdom and
this is how-
HEAR THE GOSPEL
KJV John 6:45
45. It is written in the prophets,
And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard,
and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
BELEVE IN JESUS CHRIST
KJV John 3:16
16. For God so loved the
world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
REPENT OF YOUR SINS
KJV Acts 2:38
38. Then Peter said unto
them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
CONFESS CHRIST
KJV Matthew 10:32-33
32. Whosoever therefore shall
confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is
in heaven.
33. But whosoever shall
deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
PUT ON CHRIST IN BAPTISM
KJV Romans 6:1-6
1. What shall we say then?
Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2. God forbid. How shall
we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3. Know ye not, that so
many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4. Therefore we are buried
with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from
the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness
of life.
5. For if we have been
planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the
likeness of his resurrection:
6. Knowing this, that our old man is
crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth
we should not serve sin.
